Be my guest…an invitation

It’s five o’clock, the page looks bare…
There’s not a guest post anywhere…
Though I invite and beg and plead
There’s only my words here to read.

So, authors with a brand new book,
If you’d like folks to take a look,
Why not drop in and write for me
A promo post that folks can see?

Perhaps you have some good advice?
Come round and share, that would be nice!
Or maybe you’ve a tale to tell
That would go down here very well?

If you’ve a post you’d like to share,
The invitation’s always there…
Don’t leave them sitting on the shelf
Or make me write these posts myself!

Would you like to write a guest post and be featured on this blog?If you are a writer, artist or photographer…If you have a poem, story or memoirs to share… If you have a book to promote, a character to introduce, an exhibition or event to publicise… If you have advice for writers, artists or bloggers…

Why not be my guest?

I don’t bite and I don’t charge.

Elusive Realities

I am also hoping that more people will share their true experiences with those elusive realities that hover on the edge of perception.

You can find a list HERE of all the contributions so far to this series.

If you have had a strange experience or encounter that you would like to share, please get in touch.

I am not looking for sensationalism or fictional tales… but in light of the response to some recent posts, I think it would be both useful and reassuring to others to realise that none of us are alone in these strange encounters and experiences and perhaps we can open discussion on what they may be or may mean.

If you would like to share your story but prefer to remain anonymous, we can discuss that too. If you would like to share your beliefs and opinions on the nature of these experiences, I would be happy to talk about a guest post. Through sharing with respect we may learn to understand our world and each other a little better.

If you would like to be my guest on the Echo, please read the guidelines found HERE or email me at findme@scvincent.com

  1. Sue, maybe we can talk about the Mandela effect? I have had a few instances where I have been convinced that I live in an alternate reality sometimes…weird memories, weird different memories. It would be great to know that others experience it too…

  2. I have been in such a mental lull these past weeks. I have NOTHING new. I manage to write one article on something or other that’s going on — and not much is going on, either — and otherwise, it’s weather updates, dogs, an waiting for winter to end ASAP. I don’t have a new book. I think a bunch of us are in something of a lull. Maybe it’s because it is so incredibly COLD around here. It has been below zero from late afternoon through much of the morning. It feels downright balmy when it gets all the way up to 20 F degrees.

I’ve been doing a lot of rerunning of older material because it’s old enough that I barely remember writing it, so I’m pretty sure no one remembers reading it. I’ve also got a slew of books coming in for review which will take me a while to get through. I’m surprised I haven’t gotten them yet. They are late. Again.

Keep warm. Things will perk up when we defrost. They always do 😀

I know the feeling. What with a flu-thing going on, working and trying to keep up… and fluctuating between boiling and freezing…

    • Lull is the word. I’m still recovering from hospital but the first thing I must do, which means holding back on social media comments and conversations, not to mention actual blogging, is to continue with my memoir. I have contributions for strange experiences but can’t get the words to do my bidding. There is a lot I could contribute if I could only get going!
