When the Earth rang like a bell* as the solar winds swept past Amelia Whitewitch felt dizzy on her feet.

“Dusk already,” she mused. “The twilight hour, the witching hour. These days are strange indeed.”

Her thoughts came all in a rush. “Old patterns and systems we all thought were set in place are getting wobbly. The far right is arcing up and crying out – build more walls, make more rules. This chaos cannot continue – Meanwhile out in the natural world climate change is becoming the new reality. The permafrost in the far north is melting. Glaciers across the globe are retreating. You can’t stop that with walls.”
