Thursday photo prompt – Lantern #writephoto

Use the image below to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… light or dark, whatever you choose, by noon (GMT)  Wednesday 25th January and link back to this post with a pingback. Please make sure that the pingback works and if not, copy and paste your link into the comments section of this post.

Don’t forget to use the #writephoto hashtag in your title so your posts can be found.

You can find all last week’s entries in the round-up. Please visit and read the stories and poems and explore the sites of their writers.

The first  posts will feature on the blog during the week and all posts will be included in a round up on Thursday 26th January.

Feel free to use #writephoto logo or include the prompt photo in your post if you wish or you can replace it with one of your own to illustrate your work.

Have fun!

I’m ready to tackle this, something strange emerges from my Strepsil fogged mind…

It will do me good to get the ole brain cells indulging in a little exercise. The throat has decided to kick a few ‘jerms’ in the direction of my chest. Heaven knows what will emerge…😁

  6. This came to me in a rush, fingers flying — so I left it free form: first out, final post. Sometimes it just writes itself with me as the go-between because I can manipulate the keyboards.

Thanks for the prompt here’s mine:

The original story idea I had for this prompt turned into a much longer piece when I started writing it and I decided I liked it and wanted to carry on with it. Meaning it wouldn’t really fit in with a one off prompt. So I went with the above idea and the original story will be published on my blog from tomorrow now.

I love how one photo can inspire so much. 🙂
