Perspectives #writephoto

Age
Heavy
Weight of years
Bending the back
Making old bones creak
Sighing for youth long lost
For the first shy blush of spring
The silent laughter of lovers
All the rainbow colours of wonder
Lost in a monochrome haze of regret
Eyes firmly focussed on the ‘might-have-beens’
And dwindling number of tomorrows
They rob themselves of the beauty
Written in lines all can read
Mapping experience
Upon their faces
Telling stories
Ever young
Of lives
Loved

About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

One of the best versions of your prompt, Sue. You speak lovingly about this house, as if you have a connection?

  4. Beautiful, Sue. I think our heads were rather close together on this one. And what a difference a blue sky makes! Changes the picture entirely. Thanks for the great prompt.
