#writephoto: Valley – pensitivity

In his mind’s eye, the mist rose to meet the morning sky.
Sherbet pinks, violets and mauves danced with the gentle blue, the promise of a beautiful day.
The valley slept, nothing stirred at this early hour, not even a bird.
In the distance, the sun teased the horizon, bathing the landscape with its warmth.
He was going home.
