Loved this Sue. Maggie has never been a chewer or destructive. Just clingy, loving, and vocal if she doesn’t get her own way. We love them anyway, don’t we. 🙂

Ani isn’t destructive…apart from the odd toy. But there are moments of madness when the things she knows don’t matter become toys. Oddly, she never chews anything she isn’t supposed to… but sees the recycling as fair game.

Maggie tends to ‘gum’ her toys as she tucks them beneath her. It’s quite sweet really, until 2am when one of the babies falls on the floor and she panics because she can’t find it!

It is nearly impossible to be angry with such a cute four-legged companion for a long time, no matter what mess she has done during the two-legged’ absence. 😉

She never does any serious damage… only things that do not matter.

No no. I think she was a little mad at you for leaving. Maybe she needs another small dog to keep her company??? Then you can have two! 😀

I’d have a pack… but I’m only allowed one here, sadly.

It sounds like home to me! I feel they need to learn to earn their treats. Can’t they dust? Maybe a little mop up here and there? I’m sure we could train them to put all the stuffing in the trash themselves. They are smarter than they act — and we are probably dumber 😀

I’m with you on the last bit 🙂 Ani will clean up after herself… to a degree. She’llalways pick her balls up and put them away in her tub.

Ani, Ani, Ani! What a mess you left! Okay, understandable. Those are your words for being sad, angry or whatever on your own. Scratches and pats. Christine

But we wouldn’t be without them, would we? A house without a dog is not a home.

I agree, Debbie…I have never been happy without a dog around.
