The ceremony was done and as the motorcade formed up to take them back to Balmoral, people milled around talking and laughing. Eowyn wanted to enjoy the experience but his mind was on memory he could not shake.
On patrol Alpha One Cowboy had been hit by fire from a small village less than 100 meters away. As they crouched behind a wall they called in an airstrike to settle the area. That was what you did. You pacified the area and then you finished it by hand. Well now came the hard part.
