It had taken him a long time, he had journeyed across three continents over 10 years in his quest, but now, finally, his search had come to an end. He had found her, and he would never let her go.

There was still the minor matter of reaching her of course, for she was inside a large castle, with burly guards standing watch over the huge iron gate.

He tried the direct approach first, walking up to the guards and demanding to see her in person. But they just picked him up by the seat of his pants, and threw him away like a fishing net.

He could have walked away then, but he knew that she was the one. He would go against the entire world to make her his own.
