CHRISTMAS 2017 SPECIAL OFFER

My wife, Clare, and I are long-time supporters of Lendwithcare, a micro-finance organisation set up by Care International, one of the world’s leading aid and development organisations. This post will explain why.

For each of the last three years, instead of simply making an extra festive loan through Lendwithcare, we’ve given away three £15 Lendwithcare gift vouchers, which the recipients were able to lend to entrepreneurs of their choosing. We’re going to do the same again this year.

If you would like to receive of one of these three vouchers, just answer one simple question: What is CARE International’s Registered charity number? (hint – you can find it at the bottom of the Lendwithcare home page. This is an unashamed attempt to get you to look at the Lendwithcare site and consider their proposition.) Then tell us why you would like to receive a Lendwithcare gift voucher.

On Friday, 15th December, we will select from those who have correctly answered the question, the three people who, in our opinion, gave the best reasons for wanting the voucher (of course, everyone is going to give a splendid reason, so it may end up being a bit random). Once we’ve made our choice, we’ll buy the vouchers and have them sent out by email on Saturday 16 December.
