Use the image below to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… light or dark, whatever you choose, by noon (GMT) Wednesday 5th April and link back to this post with a pingback. Please make sure that the pingback works and if not, copy and paste your link into the comments section of this post.
Don’t forget to use the #writephoto hashtag in your title so your posts can be found.
You can find all last week’s entries in the round-up. Please visit and read the stories and poems and explore the sites of their writers.
I will feature as many entries as I can on the blog during the week, but given the volume of contributions we are getting every week, that will not be all of them! All posts will be included in a round up on Thursday 6th April.
Feel free to use #writephoto logo or include the prompt photo in your post if you wish or you can replace it with one of your own to illustrate your work.
Have fun!

Great photo. On the East Coast of the US we don’t see the sun set over the ocean often. Actually, on parts of Cape Cod I can, but don’t often. I hope you enjoy this little story, even if there are no dragons or magic. Or is there? https://trentsworldblog.wordpress.com/2017/03/30/gold-writephoto/

What a beautiful picture! We have been having golden sky moments lately. Is it some kind of hope for humankind? All the gold wherever we look …

It would be nice to think so. The day this picture was taken was certainly full of strange and unusual beauty.

So – hints and tips. How did you get your blog to be so successful, Sue? I started out yesterday and only have a couple of handfuls of Followers. Can I borrow a few of yours? 😉

I’ve been blogging several years, Robert… and write daily. I’ve made a lot of friends here and read a lot of other people’s work.Being part of the community is the way to grow a blog, slowly, not striving for numbers, but remembering the writers and readers are all real people. 🙂

Good advice, Sue. Thanks for that. I intend to write daily too. I just made my fifth post in two days, but that’s over a weekend. Perhaps I won’t be able to do so much in the week because I have to work too. Still, studying a Masters in Creative Writing gives me plenty to say. 🙂
Are you a working writer then, Sue?
