Does writing excuse watching?

twilight
sunset’s afterglow
the afterlight, evening’s onset, eventide
the gloaming, the dimness of light’s ebb
then dusky, crepuscular half-light at nightfall
and of course all of it a metaphor for the last phase of senescence
