Mum would have loved it here. She often spoke of The Bluebell Wood she frequented as a child. It’s a housing estate now, but her memories were as clear as a bell, perhaps even a blue one.


Mum was the first thing I thought of seeing Sue’s photo this week.
She loved the wild flowers and given half the chance would pick a posy of daffodils, daisies or buttercups.
It’s Mother’s Day here in the UK on Sunday.
We’ll be lighting a candle for Mum, and I hope she will be walking arm in arm with Dad in bluebell woods bathed in sunshine as these are here.

Happy Mother’s Day to all Mums out there. You are very special ladies, and we love you.
