Unplugged #midnighthaiku

The Daily Echo has been very quiet for the past week as we visited the south-west of England, first for a Silent Eye event, then a wander with our American friends, followed by a few days holiday. I had been unwell for a while prior to the event and at one point I thought I would be unable to attend, so, for once, I unplugged completely and had a proper break. Not that I would have had much choice, as in many of the places we found ourselves there was neither wifi nor mobile signal.

I am not sure that you could call it a rest exactly, as we travelled over a thousand miles, mainly on the small, twisting roads that we love and which lead to magical and mysterious places… but there is a huge difference between feeling utterly exhausted and being pleasantly tired.

The camera had been working overtime and there is much to show and to tell. Normal service is about to be resumed… so please bear with me as I catch up with comments and posts!

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

  2. I hope you’re feeling better now. I’m also just exhausted. I keep trying to keep up, but I’m really just falling behinder and behinder. And Garry’s going in for surgery in a couple of weeks, so I think I”m going to have to unplug, at least some of the time because we have a really intense bunch of months coming up.

I did notice your absence, and am relieved to hear it was a good break (as opposed to a bad one). One’s mind can tend to wander to worry. 😉
