New photo prompt ‘Wings’ and last week’s ‘Beginnings’ round-up – #writephoto

Vague imaginings

Fuelled by childhood memories

Dawn paints the picture

Shapeshifting reality

Colouring forgotten dreams

The photo for the last prompt was taken at dawn on my journey home one day. The colours of the sky looked almost tropical against the silhouetted trees and I could not resist stopping to capture a photo or two as it is probably as close to tropical as I will ever see.

Thank you so much to everyone who took part this week. As I was away and unplugged, I was unable to post the usual Thursday round-up, however, all the posts for this prompt are listed below, so please click on the links to read them and leave a comment for the author!

New prompt #writephoto – “Wings”

For those who wish to participate in a shortened version of the regular prompt, please use the photo below to create your story, article or poem. Post your entry on your own blog, link back to this post and leave a link to your contribution in the comments by noon BST on Wednesday 27th June. All entries will be featured in the round -up on Thursday 28th June at 10.00 BST.

I will reblog as many contributions as space and time allows, as they come in… and all of them will be featured in the round-up on Thursday.

Pingbacks do not always come through… if you have written a post for this challenge and it does not appear in the round-up, please leave a link to your post in the comments and I will add it to the list.

Come and join in!

Hi Sue. I hope your time away was good! Interesting photo. I have many pictures where the camera focuses in on something closer than the bird I was trying to photograph, but none came out looking as cool as this. Anyway, here is the next installment of my story: https://trentsworldblog.wordpress.com/2018/06/25/wings-writephoto-2/
