Fall…

Heaven’s Fall echoed
Summer wears a golden pall
Buried in beauty
Pages in the book of life
Leading to a new chapter

For Colleen’s poetry challenge

About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

I love autumn and your Tanka reflects all my favorite things about it. The last two lines really hit home the message of renewal. Excellent. ❤

Apart froma few freezing days, it is still very mild here…I’m sitting with morning coffee in a dressing gown, with the back door wide open and it is still pleasant…thankfully, as Ani would have the door open in six foot of snow too.
