Heaven’s Fall echoed
Summer wears a golden pall
Buried in beauty
Pages in the book of life
Leading to a new chapter

  4. I love autumn and your Tanka reflects all my favorite things about it. The last two lines really hit home the message of renewal. Excellent. ❤

Apart froma few freezing days, it is still very mild here…I’m sitting with morning coffee in a dressing gown, with the back door wide open and it is still pleasant…thankfully, as Ani would have the door open in six foot of snow too.
