Biblical deluge
Forty days and forty nights
Great British summer
Thunder booms, lightning scores the iron sky. Rain falls in silver rods, drowning the drainage and making rivers of roads. Within minutes, brakes cease to function and every puddle is a ford. Sodden pedestrians hug the hedge to avoid huge plumes of water churned by passing vehicles. It had been a beautiful morning.

About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
And we had hail too to add to the joys of our British summer!

Sue, I couldn’t resist it. We, in Canada, have been having the same kind of summer so I wrote a song about it and here’s the video. https://youtu.be/-XLSag4JvyE

So far, it is here too. But you’re in Ottawa and we’re in Mississauga so that isn’t so far away.

Reading this post, the sky is a brilliant blue, not a cloud in sight. But a thunderstorm is forecast!

Lovely here now too…and hoping it stays that way while I dry the laundry 🙂

They are going to be wrong, again. There’s not a cloud in the sky, so laundry will dry in no time!
