Use the image below to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… light or dark, whatever you choose, by noon (GMT) Wednesday 18th January and link back to this post with a pingback. Please make sure that the pingback works and if not, copy and paste your link into the comments section of this post.
Don’t forget to use the #writephoto hashtag in your title so your posts can be found.
You can find all last week’s entries in the round-up. Please visit and read the stories and poems and explore the sites of their writers.
The first posts will feature on the blog during the week and all posts will be included in a round up on Thursday 19th January.
Feel free to use #writephoto logo or include the prompt photo in your post if you wish or you can replace it with one of your own to illustrate your work.
Have fun!
Wow, this is a stunning image! 🙂

Thank you for your lovely burning swan. I actually found something to say about it this week. Sometimes, i can just admire it, but my brain does not fire a single cylinder. This time, I got a cylinder. Not all of them, but at least one 🙂 So thanks for putting in all this effort and making a great challenge.

Amazing photo — guess swans made me think of Stratford-on-Avon, hence doggerel verse.

Hello Sue, this weeks prompt inspired Mike and I to write a story about Chocolate land and make illustrations for it too. https://robbiesinspiration.wordpress.com/2017/01/15/swan-writephoto-the-marzipan-witch-and-the-golden-swans/

What a fabulous image! I’ve never participated in your prompts, but I saw this one on someone else’s blog and it really inspired me. You were right in your earlier comment, this was a gold mine (pun intended) for my fantasy world! Catch me up, are you the photographer? (Or put another way, who should I credit the photo to?)
