I need no diamonds
Only spring rain
And sea spray
By moonlight.
No red roses
Or elaborate gown…
Only purple rocks
And summer’s thousand petals.
I need no symphony
But the wind
To sing me to sleep…
And the whisper
Of your shadow
On my skin.

About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
There are unshed tears behind my eyelids, Sue. Quite beautiful. It often pays to awake early… Hugs xx.

Oh my goodness, Sue, this is one of your best. Skin-tinglingly, eye-wateringly beautiful. And I approve of the purple rocks! 🙂

Ah, lovely coastline. I was in Portland last week – put to see on a tall ship with my daughter Maddie. It was her birthday present (her dream was to take the helm of a tall ship – she did well!) Wonderful area. Going back for a 5-hour sail to Lulworth Cove next May. 🙂
