It is a very strange place and, if you haven’t been there yet, one to explore when the caves are open…especially if you go when the church above them is open too. Many mysteries there 😉

That’s even more strange, actually, Sue, as I’ve been to the Hellfire Caves a number of times, but I don’t remember seeing these formations at all. Whereabouts are they within the complex? I can feel another visit coming on… just in time for Halloween! 😉
