Losing track of time
A moment’s inspiration
Lasting a lifetime
Dappled with tears and laughter
A path walked in friendship sings
The photo for this week’s prompt was taken on our way to Waylands Smithy recently, when we took Gary Vasey to visit the stones on his recent visit. Being an exceedingly hot day, we were glad of the shade offered by this little wood, that runs alongside the ancient Ridgeway for a while.
It was quite something to walk that five-thousand year old path in company of the two men with whom I have written books. It was Gary who first encouraged me to finish the novel I had started years before, Sword of Destiny, and who had invited me to work with him on The Mystical Hexagram and get it published. And it was here that my adventures with Stuart France had really begun, on this stretch of the Ridgeway, between our early morning visit to Uffington and the White Horse, and the mysteries of Waylands Smithy… adventures that would lead to a shelf full of our books. It is a place where magic happens… And the adventures continue…

Thank you so much to everyone who took part this week. I reblogged as many as I could and all the posts are listed below, so please click on the links to read them and leave a comment for the author! Thank you too, to everyone who reblogged the prompt, round-up and the individual responses!
A new prompt will be published later today. I will reblog as many contributions as space and time allows, as they come in… and all of them will be featured in the round-up on Thursday.
**Pingbacks do not always come through… if you have written a post for this challenge and it does not appear in the round-up, please leave a link to your post in the comments and I will add it to the list.**
Come and join in!

I think most if not all have had comments from me, the connections made here I hope will be as wonderful as the stories. I look forward to some return visits. As much as the prompts. Thank you Sue.
