About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

I love the haiku, image and story Sue. Possibly 3000 years ago it was warmer and there would have been vegetation . Also possibly I had ancestors living there, possibly you did too. The further one traces back their ancestors in the British Isles the small that group becomes.

Much of the moorland around here has always been bleak…it is very high above sea level… but our ancestors didn’t seem to mind.

Been up there once – it snowed heavily!

It always seems to catch the snow early and keeps it late 🙂

What a lovely place! Seems out of the land of fantasy and your haiku matches it perfectly Sue! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
