“Just out there,” said the cat,
“There’s a pond full of fish.
And fish, as you know,
Is my favourite dish.”
“There is one,” she continued,
“With tail all askew…
And to catch such a fish
Should be easy to do…”
But bent-tail is wiser
By far than the moggy,
One flick of his tail
And the cat is all soggy.
The cat is now dripping,
No fish on her plate…
She seems none too happy
At all with her fate…
But someone seems happy
To see the cat fail…
“What a shame,” says the dog,
But she’s wagging her tail…
Press a button or two to share... go on, make my day :)
