Midnight December 31st – that weird moment in the year when people sit and watch a clock count down and kiss the person next to them. That moment in the year when some people sit and reflect on the year just gone whilst others set totally unattainable resolutions that by the time the next December 31st rolls round they’ll be reflecting on how they didn’t meet any of their resolutions.

Perhaps instead it should be a time for gratitude. What in the last year are we grateful for and how can we make sure we make gratitude a daily practice. For the coming year we should take the time to pay it forward – giving back to society, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in the world.

  2. I think it’s important to reflect on what’s going on. You have a point about thinking of what we should be grateful for. In this mad world I am so grateful for living in peace as we have done in Sweden for 150 years
