
Launched,
childhood dreams
rocket upward
through infinite blue,
little faces sweetened laughter
bubbling- –
dappled golden jeweled memories
scatter, forest dances
delightful as butterfly wings carry
wishful mind explosions
in brilliantly colored balloons,
a to and fro gliding spin
life’s folds nothing more
than mismatched socks,
a hole in the toes
now and then

It’s funny that you posted it today because just yesterday I was working in my yard and listening to children playing across the street and it brought back such good, sweet memories of childhood. I thought that maybe I should write a post about that but could never done as well as this! It was like she had read my mind and then wrote what I’d felt in my heart‼️❌⭕️
