Golden

There is a place on dawn’s horizon

Where the heart breathes

In the gold of morning

Drinking sunlight in the dew.

An unknown land,

A journey of becoming,

Beyond the world,

Beyond eternity,

Where time rules nothing

And a hundred years

Are but a thought away.

They wait for you,

Gilded memories

Of futures past

And endless dawning,

Casting shadows at your feet,

In the brightness

That lights your path.

Hands reach out

To hold you

And guide your step

In loving welcome,

Drawing you home.

And you are golden.
