Ewdin waited for days in his tree stand and this is the first stag he’d seen. He took aim and fired. One shot and the stag went to the ground. He jumped down from the tree and walked over. You’ll do just fine. Marty will be pleased.

He worked quickly and got the stag into the bed of his truck.

He pulled out his phone. “Marty, I’ve got a good one. Meet me at the plant. I should be there in a few hours.”

“Great. I’ll be there.”
