Lost in space?

Lost
Vacant
Dispossessed
Logical thought
Vaguely remembered
Gift of humanity
Discarded for trivia
Feed them on vile vacuities
Fiction calls itself reality
Filling the void of imagination
Media-created zombies slumber
Wide-eyed and awake before the screen
Vicariously satisfied
Their debasement of idols
Unconscious cruelty
Or ‘entertainment’
All unaware
Of the price
Victims
Pay

About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

Gosh Sue, how sad, how true, what hope is there. I do look around and weep for humanity. So so sad. 💜

I wonder if we, as a species, have always been susceptible to such ‘opiates’ of whatever form they may take, or is it just this modern era where we are so constantly assaulted that we must find numbness in order to continue?
