Every morning, I look out of the window to see if it has snowed yet. While she heaves a sigh of relief (that I don’t really believe ’cause she’s like a puppy when it snows) I sigh with disappointment. It’s winter! I want loads of snow to play in!
But, she says, everything comes when it is s’pposed to and not before. Like Christmas. Even though we are having a sort of Christmas already. Without snow.

At least she hasn’t got the antlers out again this year… but I have no idea what else she might have in mind.
She did see a costume to dress me up like a turkey, but I made my feelings very clear on that. I don’t mind sticking my nose in a turkey, but not the plush variety… Ah well, all we can do now is wait… and see what Santa brings… I hope it is snow. And proper turkey.
Meanwhile, I could always curl up with a story if she’ll read to me… Are we nearly there yet? 😉
Sophia the Christmas Eve Snow Bunny
Wanda Luthman

Sophia, the Christmas Eve Snow Bunny, brings a special message to boys and girls across the globe this Christmas season.
When she was a little baby bunny, she lost her mommy and daddy. She was an orphan. But, Santa didn’t forget about her.
No, he brought her exactly what she wished for which was a red kite.
She loved that red kite and flew it every day.
One time she wrote a message on its’ tail to send up to her mommy and daddy in heaven. That made her feel better.
When she grew up all big and strong, Santa came to her to ask a special favor because he saw something special in her. He saw a big heart inside of her filled with love.
She hadn’t let her loss turn her into an angry or upset bunny. She had chosen to believe life was still good in spite of her difficulties.
Santa really admired that about her. So, that’s why he chose her for this special privilege.
Santa loves all the boys and girls in the world, but he also loves all the animals in the world, especially the orphaned ones.
He is very busy delivering presents to the boys and girls on Christmas Eve, so he had not been able to deliver presents to the orphaned animals.
He asked Sophia to do it for him one Christmas Eve and she was delighted to take up the task.
Read more about her journey and this wonderful privilege in Sophia the Christmas Even Snow Bunny and the Real Gift.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

A sweet story, Wanda. Ani, we have snow here in Canada now. My grandpuppies love it. Xo

I’m with you, Ani. Snow at Christmas should be a given. Even over here in Quebec, where we usually have mountains, it’s all being rained away…
And what a lovely Christmas Story, Wanda!

I have to tell you Ani and Sue, what little snow we have is rather pitiful… I have to look for patches so I can cool off my belly! ❄❄❄☃️⛄

Just mention the word, “Snow,” near Mummy, and she turns in to a puppy. You should see her… Sometimes I swear she’s more of a puppy than me. At least I have an excuse though, because I’m not even two yet. Still, it means I can guarantee to get to go out and play in it, so I don’t mind too much. Lots of licks, Lilie

She seldom chases rabbits because she knows she can’t catch them 🙂

I know what you mean about the snow, Ani … it’s raining here and quite cold but not quite cold enough to turn the rain to snow … le sigh.
