Were I to Live today,
Throwing caution to the winds
Embracing life with Technicolor joy…
Then they would never know.
Were I to dance again
Feeling the rain
Laughing on my skin
They would not care.
Were I to weep tonight,
Unleashing inner oceans,
Healing sorrow with the taste of salt,
They would not see.
Were I to die tomorrow
Indifferent ignorance
Would write my epitaph
All unaware.

I was thinking of the earth as I wrote it.. a life perhaps not so different from our own.
