Amethyst clouds envelop a night sky,
Velvet cushions for diamonds
To appear after dark.
A perfect evening for secret lovers to meet,
This secluded place,
Silent and still.
The distant caress of a wave on the shore,
A kiss on the breath of the wind,
Whispering messages of
Wishes and trust,
Time waits for none or
Time waits for all.
Footsteps gently disturb tender moss,
Ahead, there is no guiding lantern,
But the presence and warmth
Of true love had been cast,
They timidly and tenderly embrace.
Shots echo through the witnessing trees:
As two hearts start to slow,
Two hands join in the blood,
The cold dagger of jealousy
Uniting these two souls forever.
Blue eyes fathom sorrow
From new depths never felt,
Twisted fate…
