Intriguing photograph this week Sue. One close to my heart as there are many swans in the vicinity of the marina.

Shimmering ghostlike on the water,
Liquid gold in her wake,
Before the hunters found her
She made her silent escape.
They weren’t interested in her beauty,
This swan with the golden breast,
Would the magic be passed to her offspring,
All these riches she laid in her nest.
