Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life.     Looks like a woodpecker to me, related I suspect to our Hairy Woodpecker who he greatly resembles.

    I’ve seen two types of woodpecker at our hanging suet, which they decimate. I have never seen A great spotted woodpecker – are they indigenous to Europe?
