Summers once had wings
June becoming September
Swifter than a wish

Cold swallows the sun
Seasons turning uncounted
Empty nests are flown

This year has passed so swiftly, and it is not slowing down at all… it seems I am not able to count anything these days as time moves too fast. But your words does make it possible to slow down my mind enough to enjoy all I see ~ even though the sun is being swallowed by the cold 🙂 Wishing you a great holiday season, Sue. Take care, and keep us smiling.

I agree, Randall… far too fast. And yet summer seems a lifetime away… in either direction.
