‘It’s not a portal, it’s a gap in the clouds.’

‘We haven’t seen a gap in the clouds for three years. It must be a sign from above!’

‘From who exactly?’

‘Why, from our saviour of course. Don’t you believe?!’

‘After the plagues, the earthquakes, the drought, the hurricanes, the volcanoes erupting, the meteor strike, the three years of dust clouds blanketing the earth, the mass extinction of crops and animals, the flooding from the rising sea levels and then the virus… yes, I am struggling to believe there is someone looking out for our best interests.’
