Small mysteries unfurling
Passing unnoticed
Eyes drawn by flamboyant blooms
Seldom look beneath their feet

So true, everyday things change and we don’t see any of it happen. How is it then that we notice the change?

I have a feeling we only notice change, most of the time, when it gets personal.

I was listening to a webinar with David Kessler about grieving and he said that there was a village where when someone died, every person in the village changed something obvious so that when the person who was grieving awoke in the morning they saw that life had changed for everyone, not just them. That just rings a bell with me because after great loss life goes on for everyone around you. They don’t feel the immense amount of change your life has just undertook.
