The members of the committee filed quickly out of the cinnamon scented room.

Each one happy with the final outcome, of the meeting, though saddened by the details.

“Well that’s it Folks!” the Mayor said patiently, as he addressed the gathering.

A few stalwarts had been waiting to hear the news, especially the camera club. In a small town like Smithville, news other than births, deaths and wedlock was few and far between.

“So, what’s it ta be Mayor? The press wants to know. We have a deadline.”
