Pattern

Pure
Nature
Walked lightly
By those who see
Untrammelled beauty
Following the pattern
Crafted by the architect
Even the smallest has its place
In the endless cycle of being
An unbroken chain of relationships
From the feral claw of the predator
To the cooing of the mourning dove
From mountain top to ocean’s depth
Each life a star to guide us
Towards understanding
Eye to eye mirrored
We see ourselves
In the dance
Living
Free

Double etheree for Colleen’s poetry challenge

I absolutely love this, Sue. It’s such a talent to be able to mould words into a shape like this but to say such a lot in such a beautiful way too. I always want to be in nature when I read your work. Spine-tingling stuff. ❤

  8. Sue, what a spectacular double Etheree. You captured a bit of magic with your words. The flow is amazing. I might have to print this one out for my altar. It says everything I always want to say but somehow can’t find the words. ❤
