Clouds ~ Di #writephoto

This is our last writephoto of 2018.
Hubby and I love to cloud watch, to see different shapes above us, and how they change by the second to something else or nothing at all.

Thanks Sue, for this and all the others you’ve posted to whet our creative appetites.

*The dark embryo of rain is contained,
For now, but not for ever.
A storm is brewing,
Its power unimaginable.
Trees reach to cradle and soothe the torrents within,
Gently rocking in the breeze
As they try to appease
Whatever has angered the Gods,
But to no avail.
