Looking behind her, she saw her footprints. She cocked her head, studying them. They looked so odd to her. She smiled and bent over to pull her shoes off. “At least that’s a little better!” She thought to herself.
Continuing toward the water, she inhaled the sea air. She felt invigorated. She shucked off her shorts and top and jogged the last few yards to the water’s edge. With a giggle of wild glee, she plunged into the surf.
