Claire sat on top of the huge granite boulder outcrop and stared at the gorgeous golden-brown landscape in front of her. A seemingly endless and empty landscape. But she knew it was not really so. It teemed with life, even in this mellow early evening ‘quiet’ time.
Yes, it was quiet, peaceful and above all – accepting.
That’s why she loved coming here. It was one of the few places where she could truly relax and think. And be herself. Without being judged, criticized and belittled.
