Mirror

The mirror speaks truth
Harbouring no illusions
Perception tells lies
I am not what I appear
I am more and less than I

“The eyes of love see only beauty.” The idea became a portal to a new understanding. A affirmation of something more than words whispered in the night. It is a window onto a wider reality.

To look upon the land or an ancient face, a map carved by experience into flesh… To see beyond the actions to the hurt and hidden child. To see ourselves reflected in the eyes of another… to see deeper than flesh, even our own, to what lies beyond. If the eyes of love see only beauty, love changes the world.
