The photo for this week’s prompt was taken in Cerne Abbas, Dorset, at a time when I did not document our travels as carefully as I do now, at least outside the pages of our books. The adventures of Dorset were to form part of Heart of Albion. The doorknocker is on one of the cottages facing a church whose exterior in covered in grotesques, while the interior showed some superb fragments of medieval wall paintings.
If you have written a piece for this week’s challenge and it does not appear below, please leave a link in the comments and I will add it to the list. Pingbacks ado not always get through.
As always there were some superb contributions this week and I would like to thank everyone who took part. Please click on the links below to visit all the posts and leave a comment for the author! A new prompt will be published later today and I will reblog as many as I can through the week as they come in and all contributions will be featured in the round-up on Thursday.
Come and join in!

Some great stories! I haven’t had chance to read them all yet, but I’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve read so far.
