Here is the Thursday photo prompt from Sue Vincent for this week:

It was just a rumour of course.
Everyone believed it could not, would not, actually happen.
But no-one was taking any chances, and as discreetly as possible, they left.
No panic on the streets.
No uncontrolled mayhem to bar or mar escape.
They just…………… left.
The road was deserted.
All was eerily silent and still.
No wind in the trees, no rustling in the hedgerow.
The air was heavily charged with expectation.
It was strangely beautiful and surreal.
The golden glow in the sky was deadly.
The sound and force of the strike would follow in seconds.
It was the beginning of the End of the World.

Reminds me of the many mayhem in the country/world kinda movies where people run around thinking the end of the world is coming and they need to move from where they are to be safe. wonderfully put Sue. Thumbs up!
