So true. We don’t realize how blessed we are. A lovely reminder

We take so many things for granted because we are just used to them being there.

That’s true. That’s why mindfulness makes us realize the blessings around us.

My grandmother’s policy is to count her blessings whenever she feels down. “Silent as falling feathers, calling us to soar.”

Another gem, Sue. I love Red Kites. Used to go and see them when they only roamed the skies around mid Wales, and now we get them over the village. Beautiful birds. 🙂

I never tire of seeing them over the house.. and we have them roosting here in the trees around the garden.

There are a lot of them too…and fly very low over the garden. They are indeed special birds. 🙂

I’ve seen some pictures but I didn’t realise it’s because they’re so close to you. Wonderful. 🙂

We’ve been really lucky with some of the shots..though most were taken before this flock moved in 🙂

Pictures of kites are always welcome. I’ve got a painting of one in the snow hanging in our living room that was commissioned for me years ago. They’re truly handsome creatures… 🙂
