Once again I bring an offering to lay at the gateway of Sue’s Thursday Photo Prompt.

A gateway into a magical landscape you might say. Before entering this sacred landscape we need to ask permission and offer a gift to the Guardian of the portal. They watch us approach and then stand before them. We must be respectful in this sacred landscape, one that fills us with energy and a feeling of utter peace.

How green the glade is and the soft murmur of water flowing through it instills a deep, deep awareness of a world hidden within a world. One that harks back to a time when our kinship with Nature was unbreakable and filled with respect. We honoured the voices of the Elders and Ancestors who were part of the flesh and blood of the land. As for now, our school report would say ‘could do better.’
