About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

Thanks, Michelle. This hill is an ancient hillfort and rather special.

Since I had never heard of a hillfort, I looked it up. Very interesting. I also found a map of all the hillfort’s in Britain and Ireland. https://hillforts.arch.ox.ac.uk/

That’s one of my favourite databases…. though the definition of hillfort leaves a lot to be desired. They can be anything from settlements, to defensive earthworks, sacred sites or burial places. Often all of them at once.

Yes, it does, but it makes sense that they could be any of the above or any combination.
