Fragments #midnighthaiku

Cityscape of panelled glass roof, with sculpture made of fragments, modern penthouse and old church

Fractured unity
Imposing aspirations
Of human doing

Shining cityscapes
Fragmented panorama
Humanity sleeps

Seekers walk the streets
Piecing together puzzles
Of human being

Divinity waits
Masked beneath normality
Offering the stars

Sculpture made of fragments of metal, masked goddess holding out stars

These two sculptures Equus Altus and The Briggate Minerva by Andy Scott, the creator of the Kelpies, can be found in Leeds.
