‘But it promises to make the wearer invisible, blending them in with their surroundings. The label says it’s the ultimate cloaking device! ‘
‘That’s as may be, but I can see you quite clearly.’
‘OK then Smarty Pants. Where am I?’
‘Perched on the roof just above the doorway.’
‘Dammit. So much for the element of surprise.’
‘Well actually you do have that.’
What?’
‘Surprise.’
‘I do?’
‘Yeah. Although not quite invisible, one could say you are transformed.’
‘I am?’
‘Yep, dear brother. You now resemble an oversized pigeon. Be careful someone doesn’t mistake you…
