The photograph for this week’s prompt was taken one rainy morning at dawn on my way to work. It is for moments like these that I carry the camera.

Violent Sky
Dark conflagration
Aerial Armageddon
The earth held in thrall
Its golden heart comforts me
And is itself reflected
There have been some beautiful pieces and some really great stories this week. My apologies if comments were sparse due to travelling again… I have reblogged as many as I could. Please click on the links below to visit all the posts and leave a comment for the author! A new prompt will be published later today…come and join in!
The vagaries of WordPress mean that occasionally a pingback won’t get through. If you have written a piece for this week’s challenge and it does not appear below, please leave a link in the comments and I will add it to the list.

Just goes to show that not always do we need to have a fancy camera!

Mine is on its last legs, having been dropped once too often (arthritis is a pain) but it isn’t anything fancy….and I’ll probably just replace it like for like when I can.

Aww sorry about your arthritis. Mine is kicking in too because of the weather change. Gotta love aging! lol

I wouldn’t mind if it would leave the camera alone 😉
